Creepy Video Game Characters Come to Life

Here’s your dose of weird sculptures for the day — they’re video game characters writ large with an added sense of the visceral. If you’re a fan of Mario Kart, you may be familiar with the above image, the winged blue shell or Blue Spiny Shell which flies along the race track, taking out the current leader. The spiny, Pac-Man, Goomba, Super Mushroom, and more are the creations of Jaime Margary, who goes by the name Kalapusa on deviantArt. The realistic Pac-Man is especially creepy with his shark-like dead eyes and protruding tongue. One look at that, and those colorful ghosts will be the least of your troubles.
