GIF Six-Pack: The Future

I bet you’re all sick of the future, since Wednesday’s bacchanal around Back to the Future Day clogged the whole internet for around 48 hours. Since people are willing to dress up, travel, and buy just about anything that smacks of Back to the Future Part II, it’s no surprise that brands and content farms have had a field day milking power-tying Nikes and future-y Pepsi bottles for all they’re worth. But the humble GIF artists of the internet, rather than just capitalizing on the hype, have given us a few innocent pleasures related to the film, like Scorpion Dagger imagining the DeLorean’s journey through Renaissance paintings, Render Fruit‘s “texting while hoverboarding” PSA, or LaTurbo Avedon‘s snarky look at drone fruit platters.
