Chance the Rapper has confirmed he will soon release, “They Say,” a single featuring production work from recent Polaris Prize winner Kaytranada. In a Twitter Q&A during the soundcheck for his Magnificent Coloring Day festival, the rapper provided additional details. The track was originally created for Coloring Book, Chance the Rapper’s third mixtape released this spring.
“So, ‘They Say’ will be released for sure,” he said to a fan who previously heard Chance perform the song live. “I gave it to my homie who produced it, Kaytra. Kaytranada produced it a minute ago for the third mixtape in its early stages, and he’s gonna release it soon, I think.”

No word from Kaytranada about the release date. On Thursday, Kaytranada released a new mixtape, 0.001%.
