Manchester producer Marcus Kaye, who performed as Marcus Intalex and Trevino, has died. The cause of death is currently unknown.
Kaye was best known for his career as a drum’n’bass artist in the 90s before transitioning to house and techno in the current decade. During this time, Kaye also helmed the Soul:r and Revolve:r labels.

Kaye was scheduled to perform tonight at his Soul:union party in London. The party has subsequently been canceled.
As news of Kaye’s death began to spread, many in the dance community, including The Black Madonna and Boddika, shared their condolences.
