“Neighborhood Watch” centers around the rather freaky refrain “I’ll watch you sleep”, although it doesn’t sound anywhere near as creepy as it ought to at first, embedded within a prettily woozy composition. This cosy, been-in-bed-too-long feeling gets firmly shaken off at the bridge when the protective lurker in the corner suddenly wakes, gets all dominant and eventually a little menacing on you. But it is this grimier latter half of “Neighbourhood Watch” that is making everyone especially excited about imminent new LP, Grace/Confusion, look out for it 3rd December via Carpark.
