Texas Tech Gets Two-Point Conversion on Trick Play to 308-Pound Offensive Lineman

There’s a lot going on here for a play that only earned Texas Tech two points, but it’s worth pointing out since it’s so weird. First off, the center was lined up all by himself, with the rest of the line offset to his left and a wide receiver on the near side. The snap did not go directly through his legs to a player behind him. Instead he lateraled it to someone to his left, a very large someone named Le’Raven Clark. Clark is a 6-foot-6, 308-pound offensive lineman, and he caught the pass and barreled his way into the end zone for a successful, and legal, conversion.

Texas Tech leads Kansas 14-0, and as you no doubt realize that’s a pretty unconventional 14-0 score: two field goals and a touchdown with that crazy-ass two-point conversion.
