Today, after 15 years as our most popular column, the DOs & DON’Ts officially come to a close. For a decade and a half we blazed a trail for magazines to make fun of people’s pants behind their backs, and while many imitators have cropped up along the way, we always considered our efforts heads and shoulders above their paltry offerings. That was, until someone forwarded us Glamour magazine’s Dudes and Don’ts. Look at this stuff. They even got the fucking president of the United States to pose for a DO. Masterful. On top of that, a quick glance at their last 10 entries reveals that they are champions of comedic italics. Simply put, there’s no way we can compete with this. And so, rather than piddling along in their wake, we are throwing in the towel and tipping our hat to the new constitution.
