I love Trim. A lot. But I always thought he’d be one of those MCs who was doomed only to ever appear in grainy footage of himself doing very good freestyles in a car and not much else. But look! Here he is in a proper video and everything, leaping around in a polka dot set!
Anyway, for “Set Off” he’s teamed up with Sheffield producer Walter Ego, to spit over a cacophony of Tetris sound effects and that weird saxophone noise they had in home improvement shows during the ’90s. It’s strangely satisfying to listen to.
