Watch the Robots from ‘Mystery Science Theater’ Try Out for ‘Star Wars’

Tom Servo and Crow from Mystery Science Theater 3000 are two washed out robots looking for a job. That is to say, they’re looking to bring MST3K back through Kickstarter, and they’re willing to do anything, even audition for a blockbuster they’d usually make fun of just for the exposure.

From Funny Or Die, here’s what the two main star robots from MST3K would do if they were ever cast in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s a perfect slice of the sort of incisive, tongue-in-cheek humor that fans of MST3K have come to love. Why’s C-3PO the only “human” robot while R2-D2’s the pet beeper? Who says Harrison Ford, and not a robot, can be Han Solo?

Really though, those wrinkles aren’t doing him any favors. Robots never age, Ford. Solo can live forever if we’d only let him.
