Outside, the sky is muddied with swirls of grey and blue. Dusk is starting to kick in, your heartstrings have been tugged until they can’t be tugged any longer, and you’re about to break. It doesn’t seem real, but around you, the world still is. People rush by. Cars neatly queue. It’s like a movie, the world is stuck on fast forward, but you’re paused, freeze-framed into that single moment of cathartic emotional relief. That’s what the new song from Raleigh Ritchie sounds like. It’s called “Overdose” and it’s produced by Sounwave, y’know, the same guy who produced “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” and has been nominated for, IDK, a Grammy…no biggie. It’s taken from a four track EP, which is available for pre-order from Monday.
