Students at an Indiana high school are on their third day of virtual learning because they protested the school’s decision to remove a class project about ‘V for Vendetta’ which addressed police brutality.
“I blamed myself for a long time,” one survivor told VICE News. “I think a lot of that was because of the way that the school handled it.”
The student is now also required by her school to attend a class called “Sexual Harassment is Preventable.”
The experiment demonstrated gene-editing using CRISPR/Cas9 in space for the first time, and was proposed by high school students.
