Michael McCain used Maple Leaf Foods' Twitter account to rant about Trump's decision to assassinate Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.
Iranians were in the streets for a third consecutive day protesting the regime's shooting down of a passenger jet that was carrying 82 Iranians.
"There's only a limited amount of action we can take because if you speak out too much you can't travel to Iran again."
The prime minister says Canada has intelligence that suggests an Iranian surface-to-air missile shot down the flight, killing 176 people, including 63 Canadians.
Tensions between Iran and the U.S. are already complicating the investigation into the crash that killed all 176 people on board.
