British artist Wiley, affectionately known as grime’s godfather, has sat down for an extended 70-minute interview with UK web show Not For The Radio, and the result is one of his most candid interviews ever. Covering a career-spanning range of topics, he touches on everything from his favorite grime MCs (spolier alert: they’re Kano and Devlin) to his historically turbulent relationship with Dizzee Rascal, as well as his career highs and lows, and plans for a forthcoming book and biopic. Overall, it’s extremely intriguing whether you’ve followed him closely for years or are barely familiar with his work: the man has a magnetizing presence and many a story to tell. Check it out above.
