Last time we had a chat with Niall Galvin — AKA Only Real, AKA every girl’s new crush — we found out a lot about him. We found out he was a laptop bedroom recording pro and that his average day consisted of waking-up, going skating and then picking up his guitar and composing carefree post-punk tunes. He also says “creasefest” a lot, is obsessed with Froot Loops, and also cinnamon toast. In fact, he’s so obsessed with cinnamon toast he’s composed a song about it. If we ever interview him again, it will consist of 30-questions about his Ma making his cinnamon toast. Boooya!
But he did speak to us briefly, if only to clarify that the chorus goes, “Hitting on chicks and cinnamon toast”, and not “Hitting on tits and cinnamon toast”, as I had interpreted it. Freudian ear slip?
