Open GIF artist Zolloc’s (a.k.a. Hayden Zezula) website, Tumblr, or Instagram page and you’ll be treated to flowing fluids, armies of arms, and gyrating geometry. Each work, carefully crafted in Cinema 4D to achieve the elusive #SeamlessLoop, feels like its own little world.
Recently, Zolloc’s been experimenting with things like 3D scanning, collaborations with artists like Traceloops and Sam Cannon, infusing his work with photography for last season’s Fashion Week, and pushing the boundaries of Instagram’s new features, adding music and length to his previously standard 30-frame GIFs.
