In 2013 Kilo Kish—whose plushly downtempo R&B-pop we’ve been bigging up since way back—left NYC for LA. She roadtripped the country and poured her feelings and observances into her EP, Across, produced by Kaleb Stone and released by Kitsuné this past summer. You can check out the entire collection and the accompanying videos here. Kish is an art school kid at heart, so she’s very much into the union between sound and vision.
This weekthe Parisien label dropped Across, the remixes by Rrrreymundo and today we’re launching competition for any budding producers to remix Kish’s “Curious.” Kitsuné and Noisey will have a listen to the entries and the winner’s remix will be uploaded to Kistuné’s Soundcloud and YouTube and pushed out on the labels socials, and it’ll be published on Noisey too.

The winner will also receive a complete a Maison Kitsuné outfit, because of as well as being a baller boutique label, Kitsuné also design super-cool clothes. We’ve been drooling over their Letterman jackets for years. So the winner will get tricked out in €650 worth of threads: a Parisien 5 panel cap – New Era, a Western shirt, a slim cut melange, (here’s the pants for girls), and white canvas sneakers. So. Jealous.
To enter and submit your version follow Noisey Soundcloud and Kitsuné Soundcloud and upload your remix and title it as Kilo Kish #curiousrmx by (insert name of the producer).
Download the stems for “Curious” here.
You’ve got till the end of January to send in your remix and by 2.2 we’ll have chosen a winner. Good luck!
