James Flemons is an LA-based fashion designer of the brand Phlemuns. After graduating FIDM, James sought to start his own brand that was sustainably-minded, gender-inclusive, and centered in fair labor practices. His gender fluid designs have captured the attention of some of the biggest names in music, but the realities of starting a fashion brand aren’t as glamorous as you’d think.
