Why I Live In New York

A lot of people ask me why I live in New York, and one of the consistent answers is the abundance of live music happening in this city. Chasing live music almost every night inevitably lands you with a wide variety of experiences. Sometimes it’s a weird but amazing night in an abandoned church with live music and couples having sex in the pews. Other times it’s getting your bag dumped out, frisked, and having your bike tools confiscated by a bouncer at Santos Party House—and here I thought you had to end up in Central Booking for that much fun.
