We are currently in possession of a one-of-a-kind prop from Danny McBride’s new mead-and-weed opus, Your Highness. This Saturday we are hiding this hefty-sized oddity somewhere in the Rotten Apple. If you find it, it’s yours for eternity, or until your dealer decides “good faith” is so last decade. Due to the prop’s spoilerishness, we’re not yet permitted to reveal what it is. We can only say that McBride and Spectral Motion SFX donated it, and that it’s the “secret weapon” of the flick’s Minotaur. For those who don’t listen to Coast to Coast AM, a Minotaur is a 7-foot Doom 2-looking, evidently rape-prone beast, as pictured below with director David Gordon Green.
As the weekend rolls on, we will post sporadic, chilled-to-revelatory hints on the Vice Twitter, tagging each one under #doobery to make things quick and easy to consult. Universal Pictures’ Twitter will also be following our lead. On good faith. The first hints: It’s hidden somewhere in Brooklyn. It’s not stashed outdoors. It’s not open very late. It’s not obscure. You’ll need to mention a “Your Highness prop” to someone at the secret location to receive it. If you point and say, for example, what the dwarf-tits is that? You’ll get the silent treatment.

The Rules: In order to win the prop, inside the secret location you must present a ticket stub or advance ticket for Your Highness, which opens today. You will also agree to have your photo taken holding the prop at the location, for validation purposes and for our own amusement. The winner cannot be a past or present employee of Vice, Universal Pictures, the secret location, or a ska-related entity. Or Danny McBride himself. You must not be carrying a firearm or be white and have dreadlocks, or be wearing flip-flops.
Before you hit the streets, we recommend you watch this Funny or Die behind-the-scenes jernt. It could very well be, double-cough, beneficial visually in your search…
In case you’ve forgotten, back in 2009 we were on the set of Your Highness in Northern Ireland. Here are the recently published dispatches: Part I, Part II, and Part III.
