We met up with Joe Crow Ryan, a well known NYC subway musician who uses music to overcome struggles with homelessness and the law. He’s technically unemployed, and not looking, because, as he says, he’s done with jobs.
Here’s the story of how he went from hospital nurse, to subway banjo brusker, to musician recording an album in a real studio. Joe’s currently working on his third record.
