Brian Eno talking about stuff is interesting kinda just by definition. Here he covers his new visual art project, ‘’77 Million Paintings,” the Long Now Project (featuring a 10,000 year clock in Texas), and being terrified of dying in an airplane crash. Note the response to the latter, at 4:50 or so, when Stephen Colbert says “I had to face that a long time ago.” If you didn’t get the joke, that’s because he wasn’t being funny. Rather, he was being really human. Colbert lost his father and two brothers in the 1974 crash of Eastern Air Lines Flight 212.
