You’ve seen Chris Milk’s interactive film The Wilderness Downtown for Arcade Fire’s “We Used To Wait”—a browser-based experience where you could tour your hometown using Google Maps. Spanish band Labuat have also climbed aboard the interactive online video bandwagon with an interactive mouse-painting site for their single “Soy tu aire.” And this must surely be only the beginning, as a new wave of HTML supporting browsers take over the internet (incidentally, the World Wide Web consortium recently announced that, surprisingly, IE9 is leading the race with regards to compatibility). So, with that in mind here’s another interactive video from band Broken Bells—comprising Danger Mouse and James Mercer from The Shins—and their song “October,” where you pilot a blue line through cosmic landscapes. And it’s in 3D to boot, so don some glasses if you’ve got them.
