Inspired by history’s most brutal pirate, Charles Vane, Will Kiersky gets a first-hand tour of the more violent aspects of life in the deceptively beautiful Bahamas. First, he joins a historical weapons expert to test out the early firearms Charles Vane would have used. Then he gets a guided tour of the seas Vane and his crew regularly plundered, and learns about naval officers who turned into crooks. Finally, Will takes to the deep seas to see what perils the sea held for these swashbuckling buccaneers.
