For all of you without beach access during the home stretch of this sweaty NY summer, take advantage of the various musical “staycation” options from some of our creators.

First on tap are Gang Gang Dance who play The Beach at Governors Island on August 12th with Grizzly Bear and The Walkmen.

Two days later on August 14th Neon Indian will also take on The Beach with a FREE evening show (tickets are limited, so show up early).

He’ll be performing alongside Prefuse 73, DOM, and Nite Jewel, but fellow creators, Phoenix, will join Neon Indian on the West Coast phase of their tour from September 19-26th.

Finally, over Labor Day weekend, Electric Zoo, New York’s electronic music festival at Randall’s Island Park will feature creators: Boys Noize, Diplo, and DJ Mehdi.
