Get Familiar with Nerftoss’ Minimalist Electro-Punk Machinations

Drag City noise rock troupe Dope Body keeps its output dark and heavy, so much that it doesn’t come as much of a shock that John Jones has another outlet for his lighter impulses; as he said, ” I like to utilize Nerftoss as a project to fully explore the things I can’t do in Dope Body.” The project released its latest record, Maiden Powers, on Ehse Records late last year, and has just finished a surreal new video for the album’s closing track.

“Corner Prophet” is an ultra chill, electronic meditation with a heavy Krautrock vibe, and closes out the record with verve. Watch the video below.
