If there’s one thing we’ve learned from Julia Ziegler-Haynes on her new MUNCHIES show, , it’s that dinner parties need not be obsessively planned and detailed weeks in advance.
Guess what? You don’t even need to invite people over. Who needs friends when you have a couch, a pair of well-worn sweatpants, and a beautiful black bass to call your own?

Julia’s recipe for salt-baked fish only requires a few key players: fennel, lemon, herbs, salt, and a platter that can comfortably rest on your thighs as you binge-watch old episodes of Darkwing Duck and shovel forkfuls of fish—it even doesn’t have to be bass!—into your happy mouth.
That’s what we call a dinner party.
