Dave, thankfully, is back at it again with a new track, “100M’s,” and he is absolutely not messing about. Where past singles like “Picture Me” and “Samantha” with J-Hus have been piano-tinged affairs with dynamic builds, this is much more in the vein of his last release, “Revenge,” featuring bouncy bass and quickfire spitting.
Lyrically he’s on typically withering form. Case in point: “Right now life’s just lovely / Wish I could have seen that girl’s face / When she jumped on Twitter to send / Saw me on the track with…” – if that doesn’t make you do your own vocal imitation of the DJ airhorn I am not sure what will. Altogether it’s yet another win for the Streatham boy. A video is promised soon, but for now stream it below and feel extremely pumped:
