Hey cool, it’s Lionel Messi. The magisterial one is back for Barcelona’s Champions League group stage match against AS Roma, and Barca are doing Barca things with this filthy bit of movement leading up to an equally filthy finish from Messi. The ball ping pongs back and forth between Neymar, Messi, and Suarez before Suarez pops it over the Roma defense back to Messi, who controls it while charging to the goal. He then just chips the ball over the keepers shoulder for a 2-0 lead in the 18th minute.

Then, just before the end of the first half, Luis Suarez hit an absolute sizzling volley for Barca’s third goal. Neymar sent in a cross from the far side and it was headed back to an unmarked Suarez, who wound up with his right leg and just let it rip.

My word.
