If you happen to be in New York this weekend and are looking to do some spectatin’ of the world’s best skateboarding, we’ve got just the tip for you. A friendly little competition called the Maloof Money Cup is happening in Queens on Saturday and Sunday and believe you me, there’s gone be some shredding.
The total prize purse is roundabouts $250,000, with the winner pocketing a clean $100,000. Do you know the things a skateboarder will do for 100 grand? The answer(s) is/are a Sneaky Salamander and/or some very, very fancy skateboard acrobatics.

Skateboarding aside, the best part of the day will be seeing if Jeremy Rogers follows through with his plan to get kids to petition and “start a mini-riot” to let him skate like he told Nieratko he would a couple of weeks ago.
