Premiere: Devontée Stunts on His Old Life in the “Hunger Pains” Video

Devontée travels from Los Angeles, to Vegas, and back to his home in Toronto on Blake Street for his newest video for “Hunger Pains” off his stand-out project, District Vibe. Driving a Slingshot through the nighttime streets and retreating to his neon-tinged hideaway, Devontée’s journey always brings him back to the people who he started with.

As more and more Toronto artists run towards America to chase stardom, it’s fulfilling to see the new batch of acts keep their roots firmly planted in Canada. “On the road to success make sure you keep driving, then bring it home,” explains Devontée via email. “Home is always where the heart is, money can never truly leave you as happy as unconditional love.”
