People put many things up their nostrils, but Noda Akira might win the prize for the oddest thing to stuff up a nasal cavity: a blue LED.
Over the course of 2011 we’ve seen LEDs adorning the human face in unusual ways—from smiles to eye make-up—and now we can add nose light to that list. With this strange piece of “jewelry”, your breathing is detected with a temperature sensor that illuminates your nostril every time you breath out.

Sure, it looks a little bizarre and it has no real function other than to terrify someone in the dark as it flashes on and off while they hear heavy breathing coming towards them, but it’s certainly unique. Would you wear one?
