TOKiMONSTA, real name Jennifer Lee, has made a name for herself with her unique spin on electronic beatscapes; her records contain elements ranging from hard-hitting dubstep bass to softer ambient washes, always keeping a warm vibe throughout. TOKiMONSTA has caught the ears and hearts of many different dimensions of the L.A. music scene; notably, she is first female DJ/producer to be signed to Flying Lotus’ innovative and experimental label BRAINFEEDER, which has become known for providing some of the most unique and forward-thinking dance music around. In the summer of 2012, TOKiMONSTA took her innovative live show aboard the Full Flex Express tour, the first electronic music-themed train tour that travelled across Canada full steam with such heavy hitters as Skrillex, Diplo and Pretty Lights on board. With recent performances at Coachella, Sonar and Electric Zoo and an album released in the spring on Ultra Records, TOKiMONSTA has secured her spot among the dance music elite.
