Then again, if reports of the agency smiting down flood-mapping gliders and quadcopters really are a bunch of bullshit, which they very well may be, YouTube user Neutography and others are in the clear for now.

Either way, you’ve got to hand it to the guy. Ground-level images of what’s prompted the largest federal disaster response since Hurricane Katrina are one thing. Aerial video, the sort of which small drones are ideally suited to grab even in spotty weather, of the exact same scenario is whole other thing. And there’s a whole lot more where this one comes from.
Pro tip: Watch your volume.
