Watch a Drone Crash In the Middle of a Car Race, Get Smashed to Bits

​We all have our mid-afternoon energy crashes, but none are as dramatic as this.

A drone lost power at exactly the wrong moment, crashing while it was in the midst of zipping over a racetrack. The dramatic video shows the quadcopter filming a Club Loose drifting competition when it crash lands on the track leaving itself helpless and practically dead.

At the 1:30 mark in the video above, the drone divebombs, getting crushed by the pavement, and, eventually, by the onslaught of drag-racing cars. It’s not exactly a good look for the drone operator, but, luckily, no one appears to have been hurt.

It’s also an accurate representation of what we feel like every day at 4 PM.
