Get ready for Beacons with a new track from Only Real: “Get It On”

If I was getting my A Level results today, “Get It On” is what I’d want as my glory/misery anthem. It’s like having an 11am shot of apple sourz at the pub round the corner from college: bittersweet but moreish. This is cocky, jangly pop, just rough enough to not be considered twee. Only Real is a boisterous fella whose got his tongue stuck firmly in his cheek and sunshine blinding out of what I can only assume is a laptop that’s seen better days. “Get It On” is so charming that we dare you to hate it, even if you have failed your exams.
