Jillian Drachman is an experienced journalist with a special focus on music. Her articles have appeared in Loudwire, Sound On Sound, Rue Morgue, Metal Injection, MetalSucks, New Noise, Outburn Mag, and other outlets, but she is especially happy to be part of the VICE team! (Her involvement with VICE came about after some good advice from the great Scott Conner of Xasthur.) Do not attempt to engage her in conversation about favorite bands unless you would like to be treated to unending rants about the excellence of Manes, Lifelover, and Dødheimsgard. Her love of dark music can be blamed upon the likes of Nautilus Pompilius, Korol i Shut, Aria, Tarakany!, and Sektor Gaza. She has a background in the dramatic arts and considers herself quite passionate about covering events in the broader realm of the entertainment world and beyond.
