“Look at how we dehumanize her,” one advocate said of Amber Heard. “She’s not a person—she’s a tip jar.”
Jury deliberations in the high-profile trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard resume Tuesday.
The Depp–Heard trial closing arguments were presented on Friday, with Depp's team maintaining Heard is a ‘liar’ and he’s the real victim.
“When the physical abuse was more evident, I was worried for her physical safety,” said Raquel Pennington, who was called by Heard’s team as a witness.
Johnny Depp’s lawyer also accused Amber Heard of being the “jealous one” and getting her Aquaman role through him. Heard denied the allegations.
Heard repeatedly denied she was after Depp’s money and told the court she had pledged her $7 million divorce settlement to charity.
Depp previously told the court that the infamous poop was too big to belong to his dog, but Heard denied it was hers.
Amber Heard testified about alleged violent altercations involving Johnny Depp.
Heard told the jury that Depp kicked her to the ground while on an airplane after berating her about doing scenes with James Franco.
