Last week, our man in Paris, Mathieu Berenholc, got involved in this student riot. There’s some pretty harsh stuff in here, but it’s like Glastonbury compared to the shit that happened in the Muslim areas of Paris last
November.

Mathieu reports: “There were people dancing around like clowns, smoking weed
and putting flowers everywhere but then a hooligan element got involved and
things started getting scary and a lot of the students started crying.

“They
were protesting against a new law that’s supposed to increase the length of
time that businesses can employ people under the age of 26 on a “trial
period” from three months to two years. They’re pissed off because this
sounds like they could be paid training wages for that period and that could
interfere with paying for the bongo lessons.”
