Techno Music. Of and about technology. Created in part as a response to the fabric of life in Detroit in the 1980s, it’s architecture, and importantly its automotive industry. It’s a link that techno label Intl.C (International Chrome) know only too well. The name would suit a major manufacturer as well as it does this brand new boutique label. And when you discover it’s the project of Jensen Interceptor – a multi-talented multi-media artist – and also involves such techno heavy hitters as The HACKER, Jon Convex and ViVi (Motorik), you know they mean serious business.
They’re launching a new model of “darker, sleeker” techno this Saturday night at The Imperial. These are not some minor modifications either, this is set to be a major techno revolution.
