Digital art is awesome, as is non-digital art. But at this point we’ve seen plenty of both, and while we still find them wondrous and awe-inspiring, pretty much everyone can “get” what’s going on. The real head scratchers, the projects that grab our attention not just because they’re gorgeous or arresting, but also because we just can’t wrap our heads around them, are works that blur the line between analog and digital, works that make the real seem unreal or the unreal look perfectly tangible.
