Drone Inadvertently and Unwillingly Becomes a Submarine

If this keeps happening, drones will soon need lifejackets.

A YouTube user named LandoFPV was out taking his drone for a spin over a lake when he pushed it to its limits. As you see at the 1:00 mark, it went too far from his controls and they lost contact with it.

“I gave it a full throttle command to hopefully get it closer to shore…,” they write with ominous ellipses. The drone then plunges into the water and lays there waiting for its owner while the waterproof GoPro keeps recording.

Luckily, the QAV250 quadcopter survives against all odds and still works.
