The closest thing in Manhattan to a Bondi Beach burger joint are the Two Hands outposts—a cafe in Nolita and a restaurant in Tribeca—both co-owned by Aussie ex-pats Henry Roberts and Giles Russell. Luckily, they know how to make a pretty damn good burger.

And what is the hallmark of the Roberts Aussie burger? Well, it pretty much has everything on it that you could possibly want out of a burger. Bacon—yes. Cheese—of course. Avocado—check. Fried egg—naturally. What’s more, Roberts’ burger is slathered with a beet relish that has people in New York returning time and time again. So no need to book on Qantas to get the Aussie Burger of your Oz-like dreams, mates.
