Fab Moretti of The Strokes has an Art Installation on an NYC Street

So here’s something random that happened on Friday night. I was walking down East Houston when I saw some dude with curly black hair sticking a bunch of altars to a white wall on the side of the Rag + Bone store. His brow was furrowed with concentration. He looked familiar. He was the drummer of The Strokes.

I carried on walking. A couple days later and it seems the altars have their idols: Hand carved, cast-in-plastic, cosmonauts and astronauts. In case you were unaware, as well as being a sick drummer Fabrizio Moretti, is also a talented artist. No word on why he’s done this or his association with Rag + Bone, but if you’re passing E. Houston and Elizabeth Street, you’d do well to check it out now before it’s gone, gone, gone.
