Say what you will about 30 Seconds to Mars and Jared Leto but a) “The Kill” goes off and b) he’s an unusually open-minded rock boy, putting Kanye on songs as far back as 2009. It only makes sense that he’d follow that up by collabing with Kanye’s protegé Travis Scott, as 30 Seconds to Mars did at the VMAs. Performing a new version of “Walk on Water,” the band and Scott were run through thermal imaging, which is probably not supposed to mean anything and is definitely just for that “whoa, trippy” effect.
