Since his debut Cole World: The Sideline Story last year (worst name ever for a great album) Cole got a little quiet. But rather than being a case of resting on his laurels, he eloquently explained:

“I ain’t drop nothing in a while because I feel like we in this digital age where shit moves so fast. Niggas got songs every week, you can’t even keep up with this shit.”

I totes agree. Anyway, he’s broken his silence having returned earlier this week, with a preview of new track “Chaining Day“. And to shut everyone up even more he just put out “The Cure”, unfortunately not a rap game Robert Smith tribute, but Cole rhyming over “Lift Off” from Watch The Throne.
