Esteemed party promoters Bloc. have decided to get physical with the launch of their own label. The debut release, courtesy of experimental leaning producer Jake Chudnow. Ahead of their upcoming Butlins takeover in March – and the bill for that one, if you haven’t already seen it, is pretty much as stunning as it gets – they’ve been kind enough to let us, and you, have an exclusive listen to the B-side of their inaugural record.
The propulsive, beatless “Prelude to Shona” is a warped and waterlogged slice of post-ambient fuzz. Turn on, tune in, bliss out.
