KIDNAPPED
Now this is some fucked up shit. Spanish synth pop band Delorean was virutually kidnapped this past week during Mutek in Mexico for 48 hours. Apparently kidnappers are up with the times and figured out a way to call their loved ones and say they are holding them for ransom, while not actually physically holding them—but telling the victims that they know their whereabouts and to turn off all communication or they will harm them. It’s pretty insane and we are really happy they are OK. This also lead to fellow Spaniard John Talabot cancelling his Mexican tour dates. We don’t blame him.
