Pharmakon’s “Transmission” Will Mess Up Your Thursday and You’re Gonna Love It

Harsh noise queen Pharmakon is back to lovingly annihilate eardrums with a new song literally called “Transmission.” It’s the first song from her upcoming album Contact, out on March 31st. Entering with a series of clanging false starts, “Transmission” eventually centres itself around an arrhythmic, pulsing fizz that Pharmakon mastermind Margaret Chardiet layers her processed yelps and screams over. 

According to a press release, Contact marks the 10-year anniversary of the Pharmakon project and will concern “the moments when our mind can come outside of and transcend our bodies.” Attempt to transcend reality by listening to “Transmission” below.
