BAMBOO is a new project from Rachel Horwood (Trash Kit, Halo Halo) and Nick Carlisle (Peepholes, Don’t Argue) that brings together elements of traditional Korean musical storytelling (pansori) with pristine pop production. We’re premiering “Hexagonal” from their debut album Prince Pansori Priestess – a title which positions the genre it’s rooted in alongside themes of majesty and faith that weave their way through the record. The result is a cluster of intricate and imaginative pop songs that conjure up visions of Kate Bush, dancing through a world that is very much their own.
