40 DJs scratching together—that’s has to be some kind of record right? It is!
With the world’s best DJs assembled in Tokyo for the 2015 Red Bull Thre3style’s annual world championship, the contenders got together to set an unprecedented new record.

Dubbed iScratch Tokyo, 40 DJs, each armed with a single Pioneer turntable, threw down on an 8-minute mix with more scratch than your unemployed uncle’s beard stubble. Canada’s champion Charly Hustle, 2015 world champion DJ Byte, and legends like Jazzy Jeff, Z-Trip, and Q-bert were all there to make history.
The group was split into ten teams and given a few days to craft the finest 32 bars they could must for the final mix—recorded live in one take.
